Providing additional protection on the upper portion, is double-injected ankle discs. The use of lateral TPR panels on the outer ankle and TPR layered toe box offer excellent abrasion resistance as well as impact protection. The use of TPR in the toe box gives rigidity so that, in the event of a crash, your foot isn't bent excessively. The heel counter is constructed using reinforced TPU. The sole itself features the Alpinestars TPF transversal protection frame midsole which consists of layers oof protection to prevent bending and twisting in the wrong directions. The sole also includes soft PU foam, EVA heel cushion and a removable and breathable OrthoLite insole. The Superfaster is guaranteed to provide all-day protection whilst riding with all-day walking and standing comfort, making this a truly versatile boot.The rest of the Superfaster's chassis in built using advanced microfibre and Rideknit panels with seamless thermo-welded parts. Fastening the boot up is done using a speed lace system along with a long medial side zip opening. The overall design of the boot has been complemented with an engineered flex point, giving riders' freedom of movement with a pre-bent forward construction. The smaller, lower profile design allows this boot to fit under any riding pant.
