BOVER Amphora 02 patio light, rattan brown

Designer terrace light Amphora by Bover is suitable for outdoor as well as indoor use. Its name is reminiscent of the ancient, terracotta-coloured clay pots, and their bulbous shape is also found in the terrace lamp Amphora. The designers Alex Fernández Camps and Gonzalo Milà were inspired by these same vessels and created a lamp for the Spanish manufacturer Bover, which makes terraces and balconies a place of warmth. Thanks to its decorative and homely appearance, Amphora is also suitable for indoor use. The design is dominated by the bulbous body in rat look, which is made of polyethylene and woven by hand. Inside is a white plastic sphere that protects the two E27 sockets from any weather. In addition, the ball serves as a kind of diffuser, which dims the light of the bulbs, so that a soft and even diffusion of light is created. The woven shade is based on a three-legged frame made of aluminium, which provides the necessary stability.
