After each performance, your small troupe accumulates fame and may one day arouse the interest of PT Barnum, the greatest circus magnate of all time. Designed by Fabio Lopiano (Merv, Autobahn, Calimala) and Remo Conzadori and illustrated by Edu Valls (responsible for the art of games like Bitoku or Tiny Turbo Cars), Three Ring Circus is a title that can be enjoyed alone or in a group of up to 4 players in which participants will put themselves in the shoes of a circus director who tours the United States at the end of the 19th century. Your goal is to hire artists and offer performances in various towns and cities, with the intention of gaining fame. In the towns, the performances are easy to set up and give you the initial resources to improve your cast. Small cities are somewhat more demanding, but they allow you to come into contact with better artists. The public in big cities is even more demanding and wants to see very specific numbers, but performing there gives you much more fame. On their turn, players will be able to hire an artist or offer a performance. At the beginning of the game, each player´s circuses are empty, so it will be necessary to hire to form the company. The artist cards will grant more or less benefits depending on the order in which they perform, so one of the keys to the game is to plan the shows that will be offered very well. If they decide to act, players must move to a free space on the map. If it is a town, they will receive the most basic currency cards as a reward. If you perform in a small city, depending on the number of pedestals you have in your company, you will be able to claim more or less entry cards (the second most valuable) or fame points. In big cities you get a lot of fame points, but the public is more demanding and always demands a specific type of artist. While your little circus tries to survive, the big, splendid Barnum Circus travels across the country, and when it reaches a big city, a scoring is held in that region the circuses that have offered the most performances there will gain even more fame.
