(dead end) should not be.(Closed roundabouts and closed roads cannot be connected) Must be equally compatible with all cards in every direction the path cards touch. (If even a single direction does not match, the card placement will be incorrect.) Players can place all the cards in their hands if they wish, but if the placement does not comply with the rules, the next player's turn is passed by passing. The game ends when all players run out of road cards or when there are no cards left suitable for settlement.
