The Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix3 fits both baby and toddler car seats for long-time use. These days, more and more European cars have the ISOFIX system, so there is a good chance that yours will have it too. The Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix3 easily attaches to your car's ISOFIX anchor points. Follow the steps in our user manual for it to be correctly installed into your car. Once installed, you can leave the FamilyFix3 in the car. This makes getting in and out of the car very easy, because the Pebble Pro i-Size, Tinca, Rock, Pebble Plus and Coral baby car seats can be attached to the base with a simple "click”, and our safety carrycot Jade can be attached with a simple "slide”. Visual indicators on the base notify you when your Maxi-Cosi car seat or safety carrycot is correctly secured, and you are ready to "go”. The FamilyFix3 base enables you to install the toddler car seat in rear-facing mode, for greater protection of your little one's head and neck. Experts recommend that your baby travels in the rear-facing position until they grow to 105 cm (approx 4 years).
