To control Amarant, it is integrated into Philips Hue or another ZigBee-based system via a bridge (see accessories). Depending on the configuration, this enables operation via app, in scenes with other smart outdoor lights or via voice command. Amarant comes with an angle profile that allows the light strip to be aligned and supported on ledges, and prevents back glare. Operation is with 24 V extra-low voltage; suitable power supply units for 230 V connection are not supplied and must be ordered via the accessories. As Amarant has an output as well as an input, several units can be connected and operated in series.
