All-mountain snowboard bindings that can be customised for the perfect fit The Rome D.O.D AKA the Do Or Die snowboard bindings are built for riders that see the whole mountain as a terrain park.The Anti Shock highback used in the D.O.D has been redesigned, and while it retains performance it comes in a lower profile form. The flex channel allows the top of the highback to flex before locking out for full power can be rotated to optimise heelside performance whilst allowing more freedom in movement along the length of the board.The D.O.D. uses Romes Ultralight ankle straps which are cushioned and supportive thanks to the lightweight injected EVA manufacturing and dog-bone shape for maximum surface area. Rome has upgraded the D.O.D. with the Progrip toe strap, which uses a network of small hinges to provide unmatched hold.Rome has used D30 in the subbase pad to reduce chatter and improve shock absorption, which has been combined with their Fullwrap platform to give this binding maximum energy transfer, making it stable at speed but playful enough to press and tweak. D3O technology a patented smart material known for its use in protective gear and impact-resistant products. The material soft and flexible at rest, but upon impact, it instantly hardens due to non-Newtonian polymers within a dilatant fluid.
