The state of the art materials used to make this shoe both incredibly durable and lightweight. An innovative Durolite material has been used on the shoe's upper and liner, this also adds to the shoe's stunning looks. A high-performance road shoe needs a stiff, high-quality sole and the unidirectional carbon sole used on the Vaypor S does not disappoint. Incredibly lightweight, the sole reduces pressure points and the stiffness to weight ratio is claimed to be the highest of any shoe on the market. Scuffing your soles should not be an issue with the matt coating, replaceable heel guard and redesigned TPU one-piece toe guard. The heel guard also adds grips, when walking. The Micro-Grid makes setting up your cleats a simple process. The 3-bolt design is compatible with a range of pedal systems. One of the stand out features found on the Vaypor S is the new retention system. This is integrated into the upper section of the shoe. This innovative system was developed after Bont received feedback from some of the fastest sprinters in the world. They demanded a retention device which could be precisely adjusted and would offer an exceptional hold around the heel area. Bont duly delivered with the Vaypor S. Hot, clammy feet are a thing of the past with Bont's ventilation holes, positioned across the tongue, top, front and arch sections of the shoe. This promotes airflow, keeping your feet cool and comfortable. Anti Stretch technology means the shoe retains its shape, however, many miles you put in, while the closed-cell memory foam provides soft and supportive padding. Bont were pioneers when it came to customisable heat moulding and their Vaypor S continues with this technology. Heat mouldable so they can be customised to your foot's shape for a truly tailor-made fit.
