Welding helmets with flip-up filter
— light filter that can be raised above the viewing window. This feature is useful in cases where you need to frequently inspect the place of work — raising and lowering the light filter is much easier than the mask as a whole. In addition, when the light filter is raised, the eyes usually still remain covered, and the mask can be used as normal eye protection (similar to the “grinding” mode, see the relevant paragraph).
