DACs with 6.35 mm outputs
Jack (6.35 mm)
— an output for transmitting an analog audio signal. Similar in design to the popular mini-Jack (differing only in larger size), this connector has a fundamentally different application specificity. Firstly, Jack (TRS) plugs are mainly used in "serious" stationary audio equipment, including professional equipment. Secondly, outputs of this type usually operate on the principle of "one channel per connector" (for example, a stereo output consists of two jacks). Thirdly, this connector often provides for balanced connection — a special format connection that allows the use of long cables without compromising signal quality (because the cable itself acts as a noise filter). However, a 6.35 Jack connection can also be unbalanced.Jack (6.35 mm) | clear | Save List |
