Grinding rings

 

— grinding devices having the form of cylinders of abrasive material. They are quite versatile, can be used for surfaces of various shapes, but are especially effective when machining holes and curved (concave) elements. When installed on a tool, such a nozzle is attached to a special base — a mandrel; different grinding rings differ both in grit size (on which the roughness of processing depends), and in the diameter of the mandrel for which they are designed.
