Frame

— the frame is the base of the stroller: a base with wheels, on which the carrycot or seat unit is mounted.

Buying such an item will be justified in three cases. First: you are not satisfied with ready-made models of pushchairs and you want to assemble a stroller at your discretion, from your own hand-picked parts. Second: the frame of the existing stroller is broken, but the carrycot or seat unit remained usable, so it makes no sense to buy a new stroller in its entirety. Third: you already have a seat unit, so, again, instead of a whole stroller is more reasonable to buy only the frame. However, all of the above situations are quite rare, so and separate frames for pushchairs nowadays are not produced so much.
