Offset hooks
Offset
— a variety of single hooks (see the relevant paragraph), originally intended for catching predatory fish. A distinctive feature of the "offset" is a characteristic ledge in the upper part of the forearm — it allows the mounted bait to be securely held on the hook and not slip off. Due to the minimum number of protruding parts, such hooks are very passable, they are excellent for fishing in dense weeds, between snags, etc. On the other hand, the hooking reliability is lower than with double and triple hooks. No offers found
