Ni-Zn

— like all "nickel" batteries, nickel-zinc power supplies are well suited for high discharge currents. At the same time, compared with Ni-Mh and Ni-Cd, this option is distinguished by two advantages: high capacitance and the ability to maintain the nominal voltage almost to full discharge. The latter is especially important for digital cameras and other equipment that is demanding on battery voltage. On the other hand, Ni-Zn batteries normally only survive a few hundred recharge cycles (whereas most batteries run into the thousands).
