Roman curtains

 

— a movable canvas that is used to protect a window from light, drafts and prying eyes from the street. Usually, it is made from ordinary fabric. An important feature of Roman blinds is the folding design of the canvas, which allows you to close the window by 1/3 or 2/3, thus adjusting the light transmission mode. The vast majority of models are equipped with special rigid guides, which divide the curtain into lifting / folding segments.

The canvas of Roman blinds most often moves from a manual cord drive. Advanced models are often equipped with an electric motor.
