Parquet flooring

— a floor covering based on several layers of wooden planks glued so that the fibers are perpendicular to each other — this ensures increased strength and resistance to deformation. Most often, a parquet board is made of three layers: the top layer is made of valuable decorative wood species, the lower layers are made of simpler materials (for example, softwood). The top layer of each individual board can be solid or consist of several planks glued side by side.

Parquet board is cheaper than classic parquet, while it is considered more advanced than laminate — in particular, due to the use of natural wood.
