Safety valves
Safety valve
— a valve that prevents a critical increase in fluid pressure in a closed circuit — for example, a heating system. At a pressure lower than the nominal one, such a valve is closed, and at a critical increase in pressure, it opens, venting excess water to the outside and preventing damage to the system elements.Safety valves can have different set pressures for different applications. The set pressure is usually preset and cannot be adjusted.
