Lever arm

— the handle is in the form of an elongated lever. Due to their relatively long length, such taps are easy to use — unlike the taps with butterfly handles (see the relevant paragraph), they do not require much effort to turn. On the other hand, the lever takes up more space, which can be difficult to install in tight spaces.
