​Quick release coupling

— the presence in the fittings of a quick-release connection with a union nut

The quick-release connection of two cylindrical elements connected with a union nut. The nut itself is attached to one of these parts and can freely rotate around it, and the second part has a thread that is screwed into the nut, tightening the connection. In some cases, a similar connection method turns out to be optimal.

In taps with a quick-release connection, a part with a nut is removable, and the tap itself has a threaded pipe, onto which this nut is screwed when connected.
