Sled with brakes
Brake
— a device for slowing down the sled, usually in the form of a stop, which, if necessary, falls on the snow and creates resistance to movement. Such stops can be controlled by holding handles or special pedals. They are often made in pairs and can also be used as a replacement or addition to the steering: when you press the brake on one side, the sled begins to turn in that direction.Note that the effectiveness of the brakes is not always sufficient — sometimes (especially at high speeds) they have to help with their feet.
