Two-valve

— mixers of classical design, with two rotary valves: one of them is responsible for hot, the second for cold water. Such a design, very popular in its time, is now extremely rare in tap sets — and mainly in retro-style models (see below). For such products, the two-valve arrangement is perfect in terms of design. But on the practical side, it is generally considered less convenient and advanced than the single-lever described above. So, each time you open the taps, you have to separately fiddle with the temperature setting, you can’t save these settings, and the mixers themselves turn out to be more cumbersome than single-lever ones.
