Optical drives with disc printing
Disc printing
— the ability to use the drive to apply a pattern to the surface of the "blank", which allows you to create discs with original design. To date, three main technologies are used for this:LightScribe — allows you to print only on a non-working surface and requires special disks;
LabelTag — prints on any "blanks", but only on the working side, due to which the working volume of the disc is reduced;
LabelFlash — applies an image both to the working side (any "blanks"), and to the non-working side (special discs that are not compatible with LightScribe).
