Back protection

— equipment for protecting the spine of a boarder or skier from injury during falls. Such equipment is usually a hard pad on the back with shock-absorbing properties. Often it can be made in the form of a characteristic "shell" or "turtle", supplemented by shoulder straps for ease of wearing. However, there are also vests for back protection.
