UPS 400 V
Three-phase power supply (400 V)
— UPS capable of operating on three-phase 400 V mains. Such mains are used to power powerful industrial equipment, as well as to supply energy from substations to entire power grid segments (for example, the entire building). Accordingly, UPSs with such an input voltage are mainly powerful professional devices of 4 kVA and higher, designed for a significant load — for example, an entire data centre, or an industrial workshop with high requirements for process continuity. At the same time, they can output both 400 V and 230 V, depending on the model; this point should be clarified separately.Note that some UPSs with three-phase power supply also allow operation from single-phase. However, this possibility should be considered more as a fallback option, and not as a full-fledged alternative to 400 V: many of these combined models are capable of delivering full power only with a three-phase connection.
