Bypass

— when operating in bypass mode, the load connected to the UPS is powered directly from the mains, and the UPS itself is actually nothing more than a piece of wire, without making any significant changes to the current characteristics. The bypass can be activated both automatically and manually. The first option is used as a protection measure — if the UPS in normal mode cannot provide the required current characteristics (for example, due to overload), the bypass is turned on. Manual start can be used for hot battery swapping, starting equipment with large starting power, etc.
