Tankless gas heaters
Tankless gas heaters
— these are tankless water heaters powered by gas.Tankless heaters, unlike storage ones, do not have storage tanks: water is heated directly in the process of passing through the device. This gives several advantages: the supply of hot water is, in fact, unlimited, and the heater itself is light and compact; some models of this type are generally made in the form of taps(see "instant tap"). On the other hand, with tankless heating it is rather difficult to achieve a stable temperature: with an increase in pressure, the heating efficiency drops, because water passes through the heating element faster. In addition, such devices are usually not able to serve more than one draw-off point.
As for gas heaters, their main advantage is high power. Such a device can be a real salvation if you want to have a tankless heater, and the electric model cannot be used due to weak electrical grids or for other reasons. At the same time, gas water heaters can only be installed if there is a gas supply, and the installation process itself is complicated, it requires paperwork, the participation of qualified specialists and additional work on laying chimneys. When using such a heater, you need to be very attentive to safety precautions, and gas can be noticeably more expensive than electricity at a price.
