— the Dual Tone Multi Frequency tonal signalling system allows you to pair walkie-talkies with telephone communication equipment (via the appropriate interface) and deploy the interaction of telephone networks with radio stations with fixed channel assignment. You can also send digital messages to a walkie-talkie with a DTMF decoder. Often, the DTMF code is dialled by the user manually from the radio keypad in signal transmission mode.
