— the cheapest and most common type of disk — usually, standard "factory" disks are of this type. Usually made from steel. They are cheap, easy to repair and quite safe, since they are most often deformed upon impact without collapsing. The disadvantages of stamped discs are high weight, poor corrosion resistance and not too diverse design.
