Roof rack

— racks in the form of platforms, usually with low sides and a bottom made of slats. They are not as convenient as closed boxes, since the transported cargo must be secured, and if necessary, also “wrap” it from rain, dust and other adverse effects. And for high speeds, open platforms are poorly suited due to poor aerodynamic properties. On the other hand, such models have practically no restrictions on the dimensions of the transported cargo: even an object that noticeably protrudes beyond the dimensions of the car itself can be fixed on the platform without much difficulty.
