Safes with a mechanical combination lock
Mechanical combination
— the main distinguishing feature of such locks is a characteristic drum with numbers printed on it; opening is carried out by turning this drum and entering a certain combination of numbers (code). Such locks do not require a key, but the code can be forgotten; to avoid this, some write down the combination, but this in turn creates a risk of loss, theft or illegal access (the owner may not even know that the code has been compromised). In addition, mechanical combination locks are quite difficult to manage, and some do not even allow you to change the factory-preset code. As a result, this option is rarely used, but usually combined with a traditional key lock.mechanical combination | clear | Save List |
