— a natural material, the main advantage of which, compared to another popular material — silicone — is softness (and at a slightly lower cost). On the other hand, latex is not as reliable and durable, although its strength is usually quite sufficient for its intended use. But from the unambiguous shortcomings, one can name the fact that, due to its natural origin, this material has a peculiar taste and smell, which the baby may not like. Latex is also less suitable for children with allergies: although the likelihood of an allergy to this material is extremely low, it still exists.
