— initially, a brush cutter blade is a specialized attachment for heavy work in the form of a characteristic toothed blade, similar to those used in circular saws. Also, the device is known as a “brush cutter”, which very accurately characterizes its specialization: the discs are designed to cut bushes, young trees, individual branches and other thick and hard stems that neither a bladed knife nor a fishing line can handle.

At the same time, it is worth noting that some manufacturers and sellers include in this category not only the discs themselves, but also bladed knives (see “knife for scythes”). This is not entirely technically true, but is justified to some extent due to certain similarities in design and application. And avoiding confusion when choosing is quite simple: a round nozzle with relatively small teeth along the edges is a disk; the bladed knife, in accordance with the name, has three or four protruding blades-blades.
