Trimmer spool head
Spool
— one of the main elements of a cutting system that uses a fishing line (recall, such systems are used in lawn mowers). The spool consists of a spool, on which, in fact, the fishing line is wound, and a casing covering the spool. There are a couple of holes in the casing through which the edges of the fishing line are passed, playing the role of knives. In this case, the thread is usually wound with a margin, and when the “knives” are worn out, fresh fishing line can be pulled out of the spool and the frayed edges can be cut off.Spools are made for a certain range of line weights, however, this range is usually quite wide, and the same model may be suitable for trimmers with different power and recommended thread thickness.
