Supply and exhaust

— a type of ventilation that involves operation both for supply and exhaust. Such a unit can combine all the functions necessary to ensure effective ventilation — including a built-in heat exchanger — which eliminates the need to buy additional equipment (or reduces this need to a minimum). However, such models are more expensive than supply ones, and besides, they can be noticeably more cumbersome. Nevertheless, the last drawback is noticeable mainly in powerful centralized models; but compact decentralized "home" units with small sizes, almost all are made precisely supply and exhaust — so that the owner does not have to look for places for the heat exchanger, exhaust and other units.
