Pruning shears with spring
— a mechanism that automatically returns the pruner to its original position after cutting a branch or shoot. Most modern models are equipped with a return spring, which greatly facilitates the work and saves the user's strength. The spring itself can be of the helical, band, or wire type. Usually, models are additionally provided with "Blade lock" (see the relevant paragraph).
