Pruning shears with ratchet mechanism
— a constructive addition designed to make it as easy as possible to work with thick and strong branches. The peculiarity of the ratchet is that a special mechanism allows the blades to move freely in one direction (close), but does not allow their reverse movement. Thus, by squeezing the handle of the tool several times, you achieve stronger compression, so even a particularly resistant shoot can be overcome in several approaches. The ratchet mechanism is supplied with various models and modifications of secateurs and delimbers. Keep in mind that the ratchet also has its own tensile strength, so do not rely on it to cut a branch that the saw cannot handle.
