Metal air pistols
Metal
— weapons whose cases are made using metal. These can be either all-metal models (including revolvers) or pistols with a plastic frame and a metal casing-bolt. The latter option is found mainly in copies of firearms that have a similar design (a typical example is Glock).Anyway, metal cases are much more durable and reliable than all-plastic ones. This also applies to pistols with a plastic frame — they usually use a durable "weapon-grade" polymer for the frame, the same as in combat originals (or similar in characteristics). However note that in low-cost models, instead of traditional steel, cheaper and less reliable alloys, such as silumin, can be used; so when choosing, it's ok to pay attention to the price category as well.
One of the features of most metal cases is significant weight. However, this moment is often considered an advantage: massiveness enhances the resemblance to military weapons. But the unequivocal disadvantage of metal is a higher cost than plastic.
