Metal puzzles

 

— technically, similar puzzles are volumetric (see the relevant paragraph); they are distinguished into a separate category due to the characteristics of the material. Metal is considered a more “adult” material than plastic, which is used in classic three-dimensional puzzles: figures made of metal parts look more solid and are often more difficult to assemble. Therefore, such puzzles are recommended mainly for the older age category.
