Potato mashers

— a food preparation utensil designed primarily for preparing mashed potatoes; often it is not even called a “potato masher”, but a “crusher”. However, the use of a crusher is not limited to potatoes – it can also be useful for other types of puree, soups, etc. Typically, such a utensil has a working part in the form of a round or oval plate with holes or slots, which is perpendicularly fixed to the handle. Slots are provided so that the plate provides more pressure, is easier to press into the product during operation and at the same time effectively crushes it.
