Corner toilets
Floor (corner)
— floor-standing models specially designed for installation in a corner – so that the person sitting on the toilet sits with his back to the corner, and the bowl protrudes forward at an angle of about 45° to both walls. For more information about floor installation in general, see the corresponding paragraph. Corner models can be very convenient in some situations (for example, in cramped conditions), but such situations are quite rare – especially since placement in a corner may require a rather specific supply of communications (primarily sewerage). Therefore, this type of installation has not become widespread.
