Smartphone controlled toilets
Smartphone control
— the ability to control the settings and functions of the toilet bowl from a smartphone, tablet or other mobile gadget with a special application installed on it.This feature is an unmistakable sign of a high-end model with extensive additional features — it simply does not make sense to equip simpler toilets with “mobile” control. The control application, usually, covers all key functions and settings of the product (drain, hygienic shower, seat up/down, etc.); and such applications are usually released immediately for both major mobile platforms — iOS (Apple) and Android, so compatibility problems are extremely rare. The connection method between the gadget and the toilet can be different. So, in some cases, a direct connection via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi is used; in others, the same Wi-Fi is used to connect to a wireless router, and the connection is made through a local area network or smart home system. And some models even support remote access via the Internet, from anywhere in the world.
