— a mechanism that eliminates the need for the user to raise and lower the seat (and most often the lid) manually.The methods of controlling such a mechanism may be different: in some models it is turned on manually (by pressing a button, by approaching a hand or foot to a contactless sensor, from a control panel, etc.), in others it is activated automatically by commands from a presence sensor. However, anyway, this function provides two main advantages. Firstly, it contributes to hygiene — the user does not need to touch the seat and cover with his hands. Secondly, the raising and lowering is very smooth, without bumps and unnecessary noise (which is not always possible to avoid when using traditional seats / covers).
