Head

— the heads are the tip of the iceberg of any tripod. Structurally, they consist of a rotation mechanism and a platform for placing a camera (removable or non-removable, depending on the implementation). By type, tripod heads are divided into three large camps: 2D models allow the installed camera to be rotated left and right and tilted back and forth, 3D heads add another degree of freedom (rolls from side to side), and related ball “heads” "allow you to quickly change the position of the camera thanks to the spherical base (hence the name).
