Tile cutters with bottom feed disc
— bottom disc feed in electric stationary tool (see "Type"). Roughly speaking, the cutting disc in such units sticks out of the surface of the desktop, and does not hang over it, as in a top feed tool. In addition, the disk does not move — when working, you need to move the tile itself. This gives a number of advantages over the top feed: in particular, you can work with material of any length, and the units themselves are more compact. Their disadvantages are somewhat lower cutting accuracy, as well as relatively low power, rarely exceeding 1 kW.
