Valve
— a valve is a hole in the lid through which you can drink and which can be opened and closed at will. The main difference between different lids with such a system is the design of the mechanism for opening and closing. Most often, a cap is used that moves up while drinking and lowers when closed (as in "adult" sports bottles), but there are other options. Anyway, the valve is a rather complicated system to use, so such dishes are produced mainly for older children. An exception are some models for the smallest — there a valve is called a device that reduces the rate of fluid intake.
