— sterilization using special chemicals. Despite the distrust of many in the word "chemistry", such compounds are quite safe, they are initially selected with this in mind. Such sterilization does not require heating, which makes the sterilizers themselves very simple and inexpensive — in fact, these are just containers with a specially selected shape and material. Another advantage that follows from this is the possibility of using it on the road; and for materials sensitive to heat, this option is often optimal. At the same time, sterilization reagents are quite expensive and are not sold everywhere. Thus, some models may also include the ability to work with a microwave oven or even their own electric heater; both allow the use of steam sterilization instead of chemical sterilization, thus saving special facilities.
