Racquet windings
Winding
— the winding is a special tape wound around the handle. This tape provides the necessary grip on the palm and also provides moisture absorption and, to a certain extent, vibration damping. There are two main types of wraps: "grip", which is wound as a base layer, and "overgrip", which, if desired, can be wound over a worn grip. The basic winding is a tape made of dense synthetic material, sometimes leather; overgrips, in turn, are made of thin porous materials. Both of them can have different properties: absorbent windings are designed for people prone to sweating of the palms, and “sticky” (tacky) provide additional retention (however, they absorb sweat quite poorly). No offers found
