Plastic clamps
Plastic
— a series of fixtures that provide minimal clamping force. Only some types of clamps are made of plastic. Devices of this type perform well when gluing various surfaces, as well as when assembling structures made of metal-plastic, plastic, aluminium and wood. The main advantage is the low price. Also, plastic devices are not afraid of moisture and have a minimum weight. Among the shortcomings, a narrow temperature range of use can be noted (in the cold, the plastic becomes unnecessarily brittle, and during the heat it “floats”) and, of course, the creation of low clamping forces.Show
