Parallel clamps
— in clamps of this type, the jaws are connected by two clamping screws, which must be rotated simultaneously when opening and closing; the frame is missing in the design. Thanks to this arrangement, the clamping surfaces of the clamp constantly remain parallel during movement, which is important for some precise work. On the other hand, such accuracy is not often required, and the simultaneous rotation of two screws is rather inconvenient. Therefore, parallel models have not received distribution.
