— a device that protects the pushchair and the child sitting in it from the rain. It is usually made in the form of a transparent silicone cover that is put on the pushchair from above. Such a cover does not interfere with the view, and the parent can see the baby, while the silicone is completely waterproof, and with a high-quality cover, the pushchair will not get wet even if there is no umbrella above it. However rain covers should not be abused — they impede the access of fresh air; on the other hand, getting to a house or a comfortable shelter from the rain is usually much faster than the child will feel any discomfort from the stuffiness.

Note that rain covers are usually produced for specific models (or at least types) of pushchairs; when buying, be sure to check compatibility.
